REALITY CHECK:

I recommend reading the Big Book of AA for anyone interested in overcoming any kind of addiction or anyone who loves someone who struggles with an addiction of any kind. These 12 promises are found on pages 83-84. I can personally testify that every one of them will come true for those who diligently follow the 12 steps of recovery, also outlined in the "Big Book." By the way, the bigger book, also known as the Holy Bible is the original text from which the principle truths of the 12 steps of recovery and these promises were derived. I recommend you read that book too!
