TRUTH PRAYER:

"See how very much our Father loves us, for he calls us his children, and that is what we are! But the people who belong to this world don’t recognize that we are God’s children because they don’t know him."

1 JN.3.1

Father God, forgive us for hedging on the truth that you have so clearly outlined in the Holy Bible, especially the one found in 1 JOHN 3:1 and the whole TRUTH of your Love found at the foot of the Cross and the EMPTY tomb. The world, our flesh and the devil would have us believe that we are not loved by You, or worse yet, that we are loved because of some strength of character, or virtuous talent in and of ourselves, or someone/thing we admire and respect above You. We repent of all this foolishness. It is ONLY by your present power within and outside of us believers that we can so much as live and breathe, let alone find anything moral and good within us. Forgive us for taking any credit beyond BELIEVING that You are the one and ONLY True God, powerful to save, and mighty to declare Truth. We fall upon your mercy, for Your Word says that You are humble to extend Grace - a Grace so sufficient that it enables us to partner with You to win the nations of the world to salvation in Christ, Jesus for Your Kingdom's sake. Build us up in that Truth, that we may walk in Faith and serve with Obedience. Teach us the Ways of Jesus. AMEN.
