HOOF PICK: A grooming tool with a small poker used to clean out a horse's hooves. The one pictured here also features a small brush for sweeping away the debris as you loosen it from the hoof.

Below is a picture of a TFO Farm student performing this important hygiene task for Clyde. Ideally, this should be done every day to ensure the horse's hooves are healthy. "No hoof; no horse," is a popular saying among horsemen.
